DESCRIPTION:Men’s Club 2023 RYDER CUP \nTeam USA vs Europe \nSEPTEMBER 14\, 2023                   Check-in starts at 8:30am                Shotgun Start 9:00am \n\n$20 Entry Fee\nClosest to the hole on #17\nPayout to all players on winning team – – Raffle after play\nDeli Sandwich Lunch after play (Make sandwich selection at Check in)\nSignup through Golf Genius\n\nRules of Competition \n\nThe two Lowest Handicap Players will serve as Captains and pick their Squad by September 8\, 2023\n\n  \n\nHoles 1-6            Match Play\nHoles 7-12            Alternate Shot\nHoles 13-18            Partner Best Ball\n\n  \nEach “Match” will be worth three points\, one point for each format \n  \n\nTeams limited to 24 players (48 total players and we must have equal foursomes). Anyone above the 48 signed up players will be on the “wait” list\n\n  \n\nCaptains will determine their pairings\n\n  \nMatch Play Scoring: Each team has two players with low net for six holes. The low net score of the hole wins the hole. \n  \nAlternate Shot Scoring: Each team alternates shots between its two players. The lowest team scores after six holes wins the point. A tie gives each team a half point \n  \nPartner Best Ball Scoring: Each player plays their own ball throughout the six holes. The lowest team score of one best net ball per hole wins the point. A tie gives each team a half point \n  \n\nSummer Rules and play from the white tee discs\n\n  \n\nIf in doubt of a rule\, a player may\, without penalty\, play a second ball. He must announce his intention\, record both scores\, then check with the pro shop after the round to determine scoring\n\n  \n\nTies will be broken by the pro shop\n\n  \n\nReturn signed and attested scorecards (scorecards must match) to the pro shop immediately following play\n\n
