Rules of Competition

Format:  1/2/3  –  Play your own ball throughout.  1 Best NET Ball on Hole #1 (not your first hole).

2 Best NET Balls on Hole #2.

3 Best NET Balls on hole #3.  Back to 1 Best NET Ball on hole #4…

Ties will be broken by the Pro Shop

Return signed and attested cards (cards must match) to the Pro Shop immediately following play

Rules of Competition

  • The two players with the Lowest Index will serve as Captains and pick their Squad by September 8, 2025
  • Holes 1-6                Match Play
  • Holes 7-12              Alternate Shot
  • Holes 13-18            Partner Best Ball

Each “Match” will be worth three points, one point for each format

  • Teams limited to 24 players (48 total players and we must have equal foursomes). Anyone above the 48 signed up players will be on the “wait” list
  • Captains will determine their pairings

Good morning SW Men’s Club Members!

Just a friendly reminder to sign up (if you have not already) by August 4th for this fun tournament.

12 Man Team Golf

Gentlemen,

Sequoia Woods has been invited to participate in the NCGA 12 Man regional team match play qualifier for this 2025 season.

Currently Greenhorn Creek and Oakdale CC are in our section. Matches will be scheduled both home and away for each team.

Head to head matches are held on Thursdays during May and June, with advancing rounds stretching into August.

The team shall consist of 16-18 members, 12 playing and 6 alternates, from Men’s Club and other NCGA members at SWCC.

Sequoia Woods has scheduled 2(two) qualifying events, both low gross/low net qualifiers.

First qualifier: Monday, April 21st, during  the SWMC weekly low gross/low net play day.

Second qualifier: Thursday, April 24th, open to all members. The pro shop has reserved tee times to those wanting to qualify this day. Markers will be assigned as necessary.

Your qualifying day cost is $25 payable to the pro shop.

Our team captain is Tim Hanrahan. Tim will handle all communications between teams and clubs as well as selecting member pairings for each event.
