Fellow Men’s Club Member,

A new season of Men’s Club golf will soon be here.  We are looking forward to another fun year of engaging tournaments.  I have the honor of serving as your Men’s Club president for 2026.  Please feel free to reach out to me at this e-mail address any time you have a question or suggestion.

If you have already submitted your dues for 2026 – Thank You.  If you have not, please make checks payable to Sequoia Woods Men’s Club and drop them off at the Pro Shop, or mail them to Sequoia Woods Men’s Club, PO Box 872, Arnold, CA 95223,  Dues are currently $40, but go up to $45 if paid after March 1st.  The Ringer Board is an additional $15.

Our seasons last play day will be October 30th bringing to conclusion another fun filled year with the Sequoia Woods Men’s Club. Thanks to all members and the Board for making the year another great success. Our 2026 season kicks off in April. Looking forward to seeing you all in the new year.

Men’s International Invitational Classic Championship

 

OCTOBER 16, 2025                            Check-in starts at 9:30am                      Shotgun Start 10:00am

  • $0 Entry Fee – That is correct ZERO $ Entry Fee
  • Register via Golf Genius email previously sent out from golf shop
  • Closest to the hole on #10 & 17 
  • Deli Sandwich Lunch & Raffle after Golf (Sandwich selection at check in)

Please try to make this tournament.  We are voting for new board positions, and other issues affecting the SWMC.        

Rules of Competition

  • This is a four-person team scramble. The Pro Shop will set the teams using the ABCD formula
  • Team low net – number of places paid determined by number of teams playing
  • USGA Rules of Stroke Play will apply & all local course rules apply
  • Winter rules  and play from the white in-ground discs
  • Return signed and attested cards (cards must match) to the Pro Shop immediately following play

Entry Fee includes a Deli Sandwich lunch and Raffle prizes after play

Rules of Competition

Format:  1/2/3  –  Play your own ball throughout.  1 Best NET Ball on Hole #1 (not your first hole).

2 Best NET Balls on Hole #2.

3 Best NET Balls on hole #3.  Back to 1 Best NET Ball on hole #4…

Summer rules and play from the white disks

Closest to the hole contest on 10 and 17

Ties will be broken by the Pro Shop

Return signed and attested cards (cards must match) to the Pro Shop immediately following play

SEPTEMBER 18, 2025                Check-in starts at 8:30am                       Shotgun Start 9:00am

  • $20 Entry Fee     
  • Closest to the hole on # 10 & 17 
  • Payout to all players on winning team – – Raffle after play
  • Deli Sandwich Lunch after play (Sandwich selection at Check in)
  • Putting Contest
  • Signup through Golf Genius

Rules of Competition

  • The two players with the Lowest Index will serve as Captains and pick their Squad by September 8, 2025
  • Holes 1-6                Match Play
  • Holes 7-12              Alternate Shot
  • Holes 13-18            Partner Best Ball

Each “Match” will be worth three points, one point for each format

  • Teams limited to 24 players (48 total players and we must have equal foursomes). Anyone above the 48 signed up players will be on the “wait” list
  • Captains will determine their pairings

Good morning SW Men’s Club Members!

Just a friendly reminder to sign up (if you have not already) by August 4th for this fun tournament.

  1. We will payout Closest to the Pin on #’s 10 & 17 for EACH Flight! 4-5 flights anticipated.
